Field Status and Rain Information
All Sierra Oaks home fields are open for practices for teams still playing and all November 22nd home make-up games are on, rain or shine. Club Management is unaware of any away field closures or canceled games. Updates, if any, will be posted here as info becomes available.

The general rule for Sierra Oaks Soccer is that games are played rain or shine, unless field conditions are unplayable or playing is otherwise unsafe for our players. Soccer can be played in the rain as long as the conditions are safe. The referee can make a game-time decision to postpone the game if there are unsafe conditions or if playing the game will cause unacceptable damage to the field. We will do our best to post any field closures or other important field information on the website, both in advance and on game days. For the status of away games on other club's fields, please contact the opposing team's coach or their club web site.

Club Clothing!
Be the first (or second, or third) on your team to have our cool new Club clothing! We have a limited number of hooded Club-logo kids Anorak pullovers (right) and adult Windshirts (below) available. Kids Anoraks are $30. Adult Windshirts are $25. Kids sizes Small through Extra Large, and Adult sizes Large and Extra Large, are available. Some parents have found the kids XL to work as an adult size as well. Anoraks make great birthday and holiday presents, and Windshirts make great coaches gifts, too. Important Soccer Dates
U8-U19's play on Saturdays. The season is 10 games with a bye weekend on 10/11. The last game of the season is 11/15. U6's play on Friday evenings with no bye date. The 2008 U6 season ended on October 24th.

Coach & Referee Handbook
The RCYSL Coach and Referee Handbook is written for new
and experienced coaches and referees. The handbook includes:
· Referee fees.
· A list of current club managers and referee coordinators.
· useful tips.
· A summary of the rules as modified by CYSA and RCYSL.
· A copy of the official CYSA Referee’s Send-Off Report.
· A copy of the RCYSL Match Report Form.
Uniforms
Sierra Oaks Soccer has new uniforms this year! All players will need to buy a new uniform through on-line, drop-off, or mail in registration for $20. The uniform includes shorts, socks and a jersey. Contact the Club Uniform Manager at 481-0582 or by Email.
Registration
Registration is closed for the 2008 season. Sign-ups for the 2009 season will be in May 2009. 2009 Registration information will be mailed out to all 2008 families in April 2009. Please check back next year for more information. You can always contact the Club Registrar by Email.
Club Board Meetings
Club Board Meetings are ordinarily held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at Ettore's, 2376 Fair Oaks Blvd. All Club members are welcome to attend Club Board meetings. Please submit items for the agenda via Email.
